God’s Plan of Reconciliation (making friends again) with man C God ____H_____man R Rom. 5:10 – “we were reconciled to God I by the Death of His Son.” S T Good News God’s Remedy Penalty Paid Rom. 5:8 – “ Christ died for us.” Innocent Rom. 5:9 – “Justified (just-if-I’ed never sinned) by His Blood” Saved Rom.5:9 – “saved from wrath through Him.” Reconciled Rom. 5:10 – “Reconciled (made friends again) by His Death” Together Rom. 5:11 –“received the atonement (at one with God Righteous Rom. 5:19 – “ by the obedience of (Christ) many made Righteous.” Sin – man’s Problem 1. “The Wages of Sin is Death.” (Romans 6:23) 2. What is Sin? “All unrighteousness is sin” (1 John 5:17; See Rom. 1:29-32), (Gal. 5:19-21; 1Cor. 6:9-10) Rom. 14:23 – “whatsoever is not of faith is sin” James 4;17 – “to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” 1 John 3:4 – “sin is the transgression of the law.” When we fail to measure up to (fall short of) God’s standard, we sin. 3.
