The Bible – The Truth

God warns against changing his word.

Rev. 22:18,19 –
“If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this
book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out
of the book of life.”

Gal. 1:8 – “But though we (Apostles), or an Angel from heaven (or any man, vs.9) preach any other gospel unto
you than that we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED.”

Result of following anything other than the word of God

Matt. 15:3,9 –
“Why do ye also transgress the command of God by your Tradition?  …in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

Therefore, we should accept the Bible as the only source of truth.

Acts 17:11 – They “Searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
1 Thess. 2:13 –
“when ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the Word of men, but as
it is in Truth, the Word of God”

John 8:32 – “And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.”
