God and Man 1. “In the Beginning God “                    (Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God was; today He is; and when time is no more, He will ever be. 2: But What of Man? – “ God Created man…” (Gen. 1:27) “…of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.” (Gen. 2:7) 3; Why did God create man?          “for His Glory”              (Isaiah 43:7)                                                   “for His Pleasure”          (Revelation 4:11) God created man with the freedom to choose to obey or disobey.  In the beginning, God spoke directly to man and told him what would please Him.(Gen. 2:16,17) 4. Today God also Tells man what pleases him. “But without Faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God  must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.”    (Hebrews 11:6) 5. Where can man find this faith? “So then Faith cometh by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).
