Can you believe it?  Bible Bowl 2007 is now only two weeks away scheduled for Saturday,
March 3rd.  Our Bible Bowl teams are studying day and night as they complete their final
preparations for this annual event.  Other teams around the state are studying just as hard.
We expect to have 500 in attendance to participate and watch this spectacular sharing of Bible
knowledge from the Book of Acts.  Mark your calendar for March 3rd, and be here to help make
this event the best Bible Bowl yet.  Get involved!  We serve God when we serve one another.

I’ve heard so many positive comments about the Men’s Fellowship at Rock Hill coming up on
Saturday, March 10th.  This will be my first such meeting with my fellow Christian brothers in South
Carolina.  To all the men at St. Andrews Road:  THIS IS ONE EVENT THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS!
When have you ever assembled with 500 or so men to sing, pray, and study from God’s word?
Every year?  Never?  Well, this is our opportunity!

Our Wednesday evening Bible study program is going great!  The adults are studying from the Book
of Acts in the auditorium.  I have the privilege of teaching this group “THE THINGS PERTAINING TO THE
KINGDOM OF GOD” (Acts 1:3b).  We also offer classes for infants, children, teens, and college-age.
These groups are studying the subject of “HONOR” this quarter.  If you are not currently involved in
our mid-week Bible study, don’t wait another week.  We begin in class at 7:00 pm for 45 minutes.  At 7:
45 we are called into the auditorium for a 15 minute period of announcements, prayer, singing,
Scripture reading, and an invitation to come to salvation in Christ.  We usually dismiss promptly at 8:00
so that our children can get home before bedtime.  This mid-week hour of study and fellowship always
delivers the spiritual boost we need to make it through the rest of the week.

This Sunday morning we will focus our attention on the “FOUR ‘ALLS’ OF THE GREAT COMMISSION”
that Jesus gave His apostles to give to every Christian, our directions found in Matthew 28:18-20.
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on
earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”  All authority: Jesus made a great
claim!  All the nations: Jesus gave us a great mission!  Observe all things: He expects us to hear and
do His commandments!  I am with you always: We are not alone.  Jesus makes this great promise to
every Christian!

On Sunday evening we will once again speak on “ONE THING” as we focus our attention on Paul’s
great challenge “This One Thing I Do.”  Oh, how important it is that every Christian realizes the
forgiveness, of God!  God’s salvation, His forgiveness enables us to do this “one thing.”

May God strengthen us and provide for our needs as we look forward to being together for worship
and fellowship on the Lord’s Day to sing, pray, give, study, and commune together in memory of
Savior, Jesus Christ.  I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
